Gold Coast Whale Watching 2015

Getaway Sailing on the Gold Coast will be conducting private Gold Coast whale watching charters during the 2015 Gold Coast whale watching season. The annual humpback migration starts at the end of May 2015 and continues through until the start of November 2015. Last season Getaway Sailing was the first to find humpbacks cruising north in the third week of May (2014).  Seven News used the footage below in a short story of our find.

Here at Getaway Sailing on the Gold Coast we offer private Gold Coast Whale Watching tours 7 days a week. The yacht comes with a skipper and has all the comforts needed for a wonderful day with the humpbacks. As the tour is private  we can arrange a departure time to suit your needs. It is best to be out on the ocean early to have the best view of these massive mammals as they glide through the ocean on their annual migration. The ocean is mostly calmest during the morning and the visibility through the water is clear so we can see the animals swimming under water .A 7 am departure is not uncommon.
